Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, summed up the mainstream media in 2019 pretty darn well.
In a tweet, he said, “The media told us in 2019: Trump would resign … Mueller would find collusion … The stock market would crash … Jussie Smollett was honest … Trump’s base would leave him … A recession would happen … War would break out … Avenatti was a serious candidate.”
His conclusion: “Don’t believe the media.”
The media told us in 2019:
Trump would resign
Mueller would find collusion
The stock market would crash
Jussie Smollett was honest
Trump’s base would leave him
A recession would happen
War would break out
Avenatti was a serious candidate
Don’t believe the media

After hyping up the Mueller investigation for over two years, everything backfired on the media when the final report by Robert Mueller was released, showing that the entire probe was a complete nothing-burger.
And yes, many mainstream media pundits thought that the pressure of the investigation would become too much for President Donald Trump and he would resign in embarrassment.
Well, none of that happened.
Additionally, the stock market didn’t crash, nor did a recession ruin the economy.
On the contrary, the United States economy hasn’t seen such growth and success in decades, with unemployment among numerous demographics being record lows and the stock market hitting record-high after record-high.
Let’s not get started on Smollett (who likely won’t ever act again) and Avenatti (who is currently facing multi-million dollar extortion charges).
And no, Trump’s base certainly haven’t left him. In fact, the reason far-left activist Michael Moore believes Trump will win in 2020 is because his base is as energized as they were in 2016.
And maybe — just maybe — the media’s incessant lying and projection had a little bit to do with that…
