The youngest son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump — Barron — is in the headlines once again.
And, once again, it’s not for anything good.
According to Variety, a screenplay entitled “Barron: A Tale of Love, Loss & Legacy” has officially secured a spot on the 2019 Hollywood Black List — a list of the “top unproduced movie scripts” that have been ranked by over 250 elite film executives.
It’s about the 13-year-old son betraying his own father during the 2016 election.
“Curcio’s screenplay imagines a younger Barron, ‘fearing the devastating impact that his father’s presidency would have on his personal life, his country and the world at large.’ In light of this fictional dilemma, Barron ‘sets out to sabotage his father’s 2016 campaign,’” Variety reports.
This functional story has many conservatives upset, particularly after Barron was brought up in the impeachment hearing recently by Professor Pamela Karlan, who said, “The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron.”
Melania Trump responded quickly to Karlan — and her response could be echoed to the movie industry as well.
“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it,” she tweeted.

Scripts on the Black List can be picked up and filmed by production companies should they believe it’s compelling enough for movie-goers.
