Footage of Ivanka Trump’s Interview on CBS’ Face The Nation was released on Friday, in which she blasts House Democrats for their “partisan” impeachment investigation that landed two articles of impeachment drafted against her father, President Donald Trump.
According to Fox News, Ivanka Trump reacted to the impeachment label by explaining that it’s having the opposite effect on both her father and American voters, saying that it has “energized” the president and the “63 million-plus” voters who put him into office in 2016.
“In fact, the only thing bipartisan was the vote against proceeding forward,” Ivanka quipped, in reference to the three Democrats who voted against the articles of impeachment.
Ivanka echoed her father’s sentiment after the impeachment vote officially passed in the House on Wednesday night, saying that it doesn’t feel like it even happened.
“He said it didn’t even feel like he was being impeached,” she said.

The president’s daughter also pointed out that, bizarrely, as more “evidence” was presented to the American people by Democrats, the less interested they became overall in the entire impeachment investigation.
“It is pretty unprecedented that support for impeachment has decreased over time as more information was presented to the American people. It’s decreased, not increased,” Ivanka Trump said.
“So with all of this time spent, with all of these witnesses who didn’t have firsthand knowledge, with all of these people that have been paraded in front of the American people, support for this action has decreased. So, you know, I think he sees it for what it is, which is really just raw partisan politics.”
The interview with Ivanka Trump is set to air on December 29 on CBS.
