Robert O’Neill, part of the SEAL Team 6 raid that took out al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in 2011, is not buying into a Joe Biden presidency.
The former vice president, who has been in office since 1973 as a senator, has campaigned on the promise of changing Washington D.C., along with looking to live up to the increasingly-progressive party he’s leading.
But, in a Sunday tweet, O’Neill scoffed at the concept of Biden changing anything at the nation’s capital, saying, “[Joe Biden] was a politician in D.C. for 44 years. But if elected, he’s gonna change Washington…” O’Neill wrote.

The Washington Examiner provides a bit more background on O’Neill, who has jabbed Democrats in the past:
“[O’Neill] has made a habit of roasting politicians on Twitter, including his jab at 2020 Democrats, such as California Rep. Eric Swalwell, for spending more time outlining their plans to give healthcare to illegal immigrants than they did discussing veteran homelessness.”
Currently Biden is looking to separate himself from the rest of the Democratic candidates running for President, but is having a difficult time doing so as his son, Hunter Biden, is the source of much controversy on Capitol Hill while the impeachment process of President Trump trudges on.
He may be subpoenaed by Senate Republicans or Trump to testify about the controversy surrounding his dealings and relationship with Hunter and Ukraine.
Biden is currently maintaining an 11 point lead over the second candidate, according to a December 25th poll by the Economist/YouGov.
