It would be nearly impossible to keep track of how many times Democrats have smeared President Donald Trump for something he didn’t say after the Charlottesville shooting tragedy in 2017. Many on the left, including former Vice President, charged the president with calling white supremacists and neo-Nazis “very fine people” in the wake of the incident.
But according to The Daily Wire, a 1993 video of Biden just resurfaced that he presumably will be upset about spreading (so make sure you share it everywhere), as it clearly shows him praising a pro-Confederacy group “who continue to display the Confederate flag” as “fine people.”
And no surprise, this isn’t being reported on CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg or any of the mainstream media.
The video, which was found and published by Trump’s campaign team, show Biden making the remarks during the 1993 confirmation hearing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Watch the remarks in the video below:

Here are Biden’s exact words from the video, for good measure:
“I, too, heard that speech and, for the public listening to this, the Senator made a very moving and eloquent speech, as a son of the Confederacy, acknowledging that it was time to change and yield to a position that Senator Carol Moseley-Braun raised on the Senate floor, not granting a Federal charter to an organization made up of many fine people who continue to display the Confederate flag as a symbol.”
Now, no matter if you’re pro-confederacy or not, the point is that Democrats beat the Confederate statue/monument/historical figure ordeal to death in recent years, with many high-profile Democrats, like Biden, joining in to pander to their constituents.
I wonder how those supporters would react if they actually viewed Biden praising the same people they claim to hate so much?
And for the record, Trump did invoke the words “very fine people,” but, he was actually saying something nice about the people who were protesting the removal of a General Robert E. Lee statue at the time and his words had absolutely nothing to do with Nazis or white supremacists, as CNN and Biden would have you believe.
As a matter of fact, Trump specifically said at the time that he was, in fact, NOT talking about those types of people. Check out a transcript of his exact words below:
And you had people – and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the White nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and White nationalists, Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people. But you also had troublemakers, and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats. You had a lot of bad people in the other group.
And, plot twist! Biden is the only one in this conversation with an EXTREMELY sketchy past on race issues. Even former 2020 Democratic candidate Sen. Kamala Harris went toe-to-toe with Biden during the first Democratic primary debate on that very subject — a battle that Biden lost and went home with his tail between his legs.
This is another prime example of Democrats and their supporters — and the media — conveniently forgetting about their own peoples’ past remarks and instead choose to push the lies that they’re told to push.
